Ingredients Glucosamine sulfate
A little technical: Glucosamine sulfate can repair the articular cartilages of KOA patients. Probably, JNK and Wnt5a are downregulated to inhibit the secretion of MMPs through lowering the levels of inflammatory factors, thereby delaying cartilage matrix degradation. NO-induced chondrocyte apoptosis may be suppressed via the SOD pathway.
Indian Frankincense
Indian Frankincense does not regulate the JNK gene but has anti- inflammatory benefits that made its inclusion mandatory.
Chondroitin Sulfate
Chondroitin Sulfate helps reduce the activation of the JNK gene. Moreover, it provides relief of from JNK over activation upstream from the gene.
Turmeric
Turmeric is also a potent JNK gene suppressor. Add the anti-inflammatory benefits of turmeric and you have the reason for addition.
Quercetin
Quercetin is also a potent JNK gene suppressor. Add the anti-inflammatory benefits of quercetin and you have the reason for addition. If you are taking most medications, it is important to keep quercetin at a lower dosage. It can slow the metabolism of many medications. The 25mg amount in this formula should not be a problem with medication metabolism rate.
Methionine
Methionine is an amino acid used to build molecules important for cell and DNA function. Treatment with this amino has shown it reduces the activation of the JNK gene.
Methylsulfonylmethane (MSM)
MSM is a sulfur compound found naturally in plants, animals and humans.
MSM helps reduce the activation of the JNK gene and works as an anti-inflammatory.
Bromelain
Bromelain is a protein digesting enzyme from pineapples. It is known to help with pain and an anti-inflammatory. Part of why it has these benefits is due to how it helps reduce JNK gene activation.
